Growing up in Birmingham I always knew I wanted to travel and, after a couple of gap years, I decided to study for a degree in Russian and Italian at the University of Manchester. I was fortunate enough to have the opportunity to spend some time living and working abroad in two very wonderful places, St Petersburg and Pisa, where I taught English as a foreign language to eager (and not so eager) students of all ages. This experience was so positive that after graduating I decided I wasn’t ready to leave the world of ELT behind and was lucky enough to be offered my dream job as an Editorial Assistant for Macmillan English Campus and onestopenglish.

On days off I enjoy trying to find my way around London as a new kid in town, reading anything and everything (although the trashier the better) and planning my next little adventure.
