All Hallow’s Eve

21-Oct-2011

Fright night is almost upon us and with it the chance to have a truly hair raising class with your students.  For a bit of fun why not play them the Adams Family theme song.   If your students are interested in looking at the song a little more closely you can find the lyrics here.  For older level classes you might try this infographic all about what people spend on Halloween or this one about the top horror films of all time.  You could design some speaking questions to introduce them such as; is Halloween celebrated in your country?  What do you think of the way the holiday is recognized?  For younger level classes the internet is a veritable treasure trove of spooky activities.  Whether it be carving a pumpkin, making paper haunted house silhouettes or even comparing the various possible pumpkin sports you’re sure to find something to keep your little horrors entertained the whole class long.
