Japanese played for more than football
03-Aug-2011This week’s news item, adapted for MEC from a news article originally published in the Guardian Weekly, is about Japan’s recent victory at the women’s football World Cup in Germany. Inspired by the earthquake and tsunami which devastated parts of Japan, the Japanese players won the final against the USA.
