The place of technology in students’ lives18-Aug-2011
It seems that whether we are on the bus, train or at the airport, most young people are inseparable from their electronic devices. It looks like their every day life is defined by switching on at least one electronic device every few minutes. The question is whether every minute of this time is spent on the fun element, or if their technology addiction involves some learning as well.
The infographic by Onlineeducation.net below collects available research on questions: how students use technology and how much technology is part of their educational life.
Does information in the infographic reflects your students’ technology usage? How often do you see your students using electronic devices for educational purposes? How much work do you assign your students to do using technology?
